The Humble Beans isn’t a past project, it’s a current one! I am working with two old friends - an illustrator and a musician/primary school teacher - to bring creativity to primary school children through nursery rhymes. Music is such a great way to learn social skills and language as well as the value of learning music itself, so we’re using our breadth of experience to support teachers with some cool ideas to work with nursery rhymes in schools.

At the moment my main focus is on the planning, strategy and publishing side of things while the other two work their magic with music, teaching, illustrations and animations. I’m also playing bass on the nursery rhymes too which is always fun (and a test of perfectionism).

We’re running a pilot of some of our lesson plans and other resources in schools to help us figure out the best way that we can support teachers.
